Awards

Meredith Thatcher (and her father Guy Thatcher) were selected as Fellows of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) in 2005, joining her mother Carroll Thatcher, who was named a Fellow in 2000. Meredith’s achievement was honoured at IFMA’s World Workplace in October 2005.

IFMA: International Facility Management Association

Being named an IFMA Fellow is the highest honour that the Association can bestow on a member. The IFMA Fellowship makes Meredith part of an elite core of respected leaders who have made superlative contributions to the facility management profession. IFMA Fellow is a lifetime designation.

IFMA has over 19,000 members, from 78 countries, in more than 124 chapters and 16 industry- and interest-specific councils. Less than 80 members have been honoured as an IFMA Fellow. In IFMA’s 30-year history, the three Thatchers are the only mother, father, and daughter to be awarded IFMA Fellowship.
