The Solution:
Meredith Thatcher was selected to provide project management services to PPSC to help steer the project from requirements through to move-in over a two-year period. She structured the internal team and identified roles, responsibilities and functional authorities. Meredith was the project management liaison between the project team and many key stakeholders, including the internal stakeholder, other project team members, PWGSC, the landlord, and the consultants. Strict security requirements were adhered to during the construction, including document handling processes and floor layouts. Workplace 2.0 was implemented according to the appropriate standards and non-compliant spaces were successfully justified. The lawyers were successfully accommodated into smaller offices in alignment with the new Workplace 2.0 standards.
